Lotus cell water | Hyaluronic acid | Tiger grass
An exclusive formula of highly concentrated hyaluronic acid, lotus cell water and tiger grass provides the extra portion of energy and moisture. Skin-soothing ingredients such as panthenol relieve redness and ensure a clear complexion. The Hydromask has a pore-refining effect and makes dry skin areas disappear.
You get double the pampering when you apply the cicé Hydromask before bed under the cicé Night Care and leave it on overnight. For a maximum anti-aging effect and an awakening with uniquely smooth, fresh skin!
"My skin always relaxes and gets a really great glow when I use the Hydromask 3 times a week."

The cicé Hydromask supplies the skin with high-molecular hyaluronic acid, which reduces water loss and protects the horny layer from drying out in a highly effective way. The skin immediately looks firmer and smoother - especially after overnight use! You can find more information about the hyaluronic acid it contains here.
We recommend two to three pump strokes per application. If you want to leave it on overnight, you can apply the Night Care on top to reduce the slightly sticky feeling and increase the nourishing effect. In summer, the Hydromask can be stored in the fridge for a wonderful cooling effect after sunbathing.
Hyaluronic acid is a weak acid that is not harmful to our skin. It consists of a long chain of sugar molecules. These sugar molecules form a close-meshed network. In human connective tissue, hyaluronic acid binds water (one gram of hyaluronic acid can bind six liters of water!) and gives the skin a smooth and plump appearance. With age, the content of hyaluronic acid in connective tissue decreases.
High molecular weight hyaluronic acid is both moisturizing and moisture retaining. It binds moisture on the surface of the skin. An invisible, air-permeable film reduces transepidermal water loss and very effectively protects the horny layer from drying out. The skin immediately appears firmer and smoother. Low-molecular hyaluronic acid is said to be absorbed into the uppermost cell layers, where it acts as a moisture reservoir. However, it has not yet been proven whether it really penetrates the uppermost cell layers. Binding moisture on the skin surface works better with high-molecular hyaluronic acid than with low-molecular hyaluronic acid, because the sugar molecule chains are longer.
The cicé Hydromask contains 0.3% high-molecular hyaluronic acid of biotechnological origin. It is produced from plant material (mostly based on olive oil).
ATTENTION: High hyaluronic acid concentrations are often advertised - one can find indications of 10 to 20%. In these cases, the percentage of the hyaluronic acid gel (water plus hyaluronic acid) is meant. However, these gels contain no more than 1% of the dry substance. Accordingly, when 10 to 20% is stated, the concentration ends up being only 0.1 to 0.2%.
